Trailer Mechanic job duties include:
• Performing scheduled trailer basic preventative maintenance.
• Performing annual DOT vehicle inspections (if qualified)
• Inspecting brake systems, tires, lights, wheel bearings and other vital parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.
• Repairing floors, side wall, roofs, and cross members
• Remove and install wheel assemblies and tires
• Completing other basic electrical and trailer repairs
• Completing assigned repair orders concisely and within time restrictions.

Trailer Mechanic jobs require:
• Previous experience or education in maintenance related field
• Candidate must own tools to perform job duties
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Filling out and submitting all required documents in an accurate and timely manner
