Drivers at Millis Transfer Recognized for Safe Driving Practices

Millis Transfer Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of twelve new drivers to their One Million Mile Safe Driver Club. Along with the impressive driving accomplishments of these outstanding industry professionals, the company is extremely proud to recognize two additional drivers for their achievement in being named to the Millis Transfer Two Million Mile Safe Driver Club.

According to the American Trucking Association, the trucking industry moves more than 10.4 billion tons of freight annually. As that freight is transported, driving practices of professional drivers are tracked and reported on by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the Federal Highway Administration.

“Achieving one or two million safe miles makes a tremendous difference, not only for the safety of those on the highway, but for the consumers who rely on the trucking industry to deliver the goods they depend on in their daily lives,” Millis said. “Please join us in thanking each of these drivers for all that they do.”
