Nine Truckers Win Big in the Chance to Win $1 Million Contest!

Red Eye Radio, Target Media Partners, Women In Trucking, and SmartPhoneTrucker team up to end the year on a very happy note for these nine drivers.

Nine truckers are having very happy holidays this year after being finalists in SmartPhoneTrucker’s Chance to Win $1 Million Contest. And the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund has received a $1,000 donation on behalf of Boyd Bros., Celadon, Forward Air, Marten Transport, Maverick Transportation, Melton Truck Lines, Mercer Transportation, and USA Truck, all motor carrier sponsors of the contest.

“This contest was a big success for SmartPhoneTrucker,” said John Carter, publisher of SmartPhoneTrucker. “I’d like to thank Red Eye Radio, Target Media Partners, and Women In Trucking for being wonderful co-sponsors. We had a lot of fun, interacted with fantastic drivers, and we were able to make a nice donation to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and give some drivers really nice prizes.”

Those prizes included NASCAR packages, laptops, big screen TVs, Playstations, and cash. Carter adds, “We were hoping one of the finalists would hit the lucky number and win the grand prize of one million dollars plus $100,000 for our veterans, but we’re happy that everyone won a nice consolation prize.”

The drivers chosen at random as finalists were Edward O’Donnell (50-inch 1080p LED High Definition TV), Jessica Garza (PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB Console), Joyce Gilliland ($500 cash), Sky Hanstein (PlayStation 4 Slim 1TB Console), Talmadge Mitchell (NASCAR package), Donald Putnam (NASCAR package), Orison Rollins (50-inch 1080p LED High Definition TV), Jamison Smith (Samsung Galaxy 18.4-inch 32GB Wifi Tablet), and Sean Tripoli (Samsung Galaxy 18.4-inch 32GB Wifi Tablet).
